Yesterday, the permanent site of the International Lakeside Resort Conference was unveiled at Moon Square on the side of South Taihu Lake, a continuation of the permanent meeting site's settlement in Huzhou last year. The person in charge of the relevant departments in our city said that Huzhou would take this opportunity to hold the International Lakeside Resort Congress and the Yangtze River Delta Integrated Cultural and Travel Summit, actively integrate into "One Belt One Road" and "Yangtze River Delta integration", launch the brand of lakeside tourism and vacation, and promote the construction of tourism.
　　In recent years, our city deeply practices the concept of "lucid water and lush mountains are invaluable assets", adheres to the" cultural fusion "as a guide, constantly develops cultural tourism products to meet the multi-level needs, and has been recognized by tourists and the market. In September last year, our city successfully held the first China·Huzhou International Lakeside Tourism Festival and China·Taihu Lake International Tourism Festival, established the Taihu Lake Rim Tourism Alliance and Zhejiang Dawan District Wuhu Tourism Alliance, and issued "Ten scenes around Taihu Lake" and "Five lakes and five scenes in Dawan District, Zhejiang Province". The events have been strongly supported by the Asia-Pacific Tourism Association and the United Nations World Tourism Organization. As a result, the Asia-Pacific Tourism Association has awarded Huzhou a permanent site for the International Lakeside Resort Conference, and plans to hold an international resort conference in Huzhou every two years to jointly promote the high quality development of international lakeside tourism and vacation.
