The violent 9^th typhoon of the year “Lekima” has intensified as a super typhoon, coming straightly to the province and exerting big impacts on the city potentially. On August 8th, Ma Xiaohui, Secretary of CPC Huzhou Municipal Committee, and Qian Sanxiong, deputy secretary of CPC Huzhou Municipal Committee and Mayor of Huzhou, made instructions on typhoon resistance respectively and stressed that we should guard against typhoon “Lekima” and ensure the safety of life and property of the masses.
　　Ma pointed out in the instruction that Typhoon “Lekima” is going to land in the coastal area of the province and bring heavy rains and winds in the coming days in the city. Departments of all districts and counties should completely remain alert, strengthen early warning, effectively implement all measures for typhoon and flood prevention to secure property and person.
　　Qian required that all departments at the municipal level and districts and counties should pay close attention to the typhoon movement, watch closely on the key areas such as reservoirs and dams, scenic spots, construction sites, old and dilapidated rural houses, and geological hazard sites, strictly take responsibilities in eliminating potential risks, and fulfill the work of typhoon resistance.
