Yesterday afternoon, in Zhejiang People’s Great Hall, Huzhou and Sany Group signed a ten-billion-level contract for a research institute and machinery manufacturing base, marking a new high for government-enterprise collaboration. Chen Hao, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, and Xiang Wenbo, Secretary of the Party Committee and Rotating Chairman of Sany Group, had a discussion and witnessed the signing ceremony together. In attendance were Wu Zhiyong, Executive Vice Mayor and a member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee; Huang Jiong, a member and deputy director of the Party Group of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission; Fu Yinggang, a member of the Party Group of the Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology; and pertinent leaders of Sany Group and Wuxing District.
According to Chen Hao, Sany Group has been steadily increasing investment in Huzhou over the last several years, which has boosted the regional social and economic development as well as its own expansion and strength. Huzhou is currently building eight emerging industrial chains, including construction machinery, attracting new R&D institutions, and consistently gaining new momentum for development. Huzhou is also closely studying and putting into practice the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's significant speech on the inspection of Zhejiang, as well as diligently carrying out the deployment requirements of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 15th Provincial Party Committee. The signing of this ten-billion-yuan project is another significant step toward strengthening communications and collaboration between the government and Sany Group. Huzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government will continue to support Sany Group's development in Huzhou by providing the best service possible for the project construction and operation.
Xiang Wenbo is grateful to Huzhou Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal Government, and Wuxing District Party Committee and District Government for their attention and support to Sany Group. He said that Huzhou, with its clear geographic advantages, strong industrial base, and first-rate business climate, is a city ready to “open umbrella in the rain" or provide timely help for businesses. All these have made Sany Group more confident to increase investment in Huzhou. He hopes that this signing ceremony will be a new beginning for Huzhou and Sany Group to build on their strengths, prioritize their needs and capabilities, share development prospects, and strive for a better future together.
