As a major construction project in the province during the 14th Five-year Plan period and the largest single investment highway project in our city so far, Huzhou-Hangzhou expressway project starts from Zhili Town, Wuxing District to Xin'an Town, Deqing County, Wuxing District, with a total length of about 45 kilometers and a total planned investment of CNY16.97 billion yuan. Last year, the Wuxing-Deqing section of the whole expressway project was successfully completed the half-through of the main line, exceeding the annual investment target of CNY5.6 billion yuan, which has now moved on to a critical period of construction.
　　During the Spring Festival, the construction work wasn’t out of production, and the post-festival sprint would be a "good start". Since February 6, all construction sections of the project have resumed work. Up to now, 3058 workers have returned to work. "In our bid section II, more than 500 construction personnel have been in place by the 15th day of the first month, and all kinds of construction equipment have been commissioned and ready to put into use." Zhang Wei, the chief engineer of the project in the bid section II of Hu-Hang Expressway said. And he claimed that at present, the bid section II is at an important stage of beam and slab erection, and all the workers are seizing the time to make beams and strive to complete the erection of the main line bridge slab before March.
　　It is learned that the construction of Wuxing-Deqing section of Hu-Hang Expressway will be carried out, including beam and slab erection, bridge deck construction, and pavement work. It is expected that 85% of subgrade construction work and 80% of bridge and culvert construction work will be completed by the end of the first half year.
　　Zheng Quanyi, deputy director of Huzhou Transportation Group's Wuxing-Deqing Section introduced that they would comprehensively improve the construction efficiency of the project while ensuring the construction safety and quality, and laid a solid foundation for the opening of the whole line next year.
