The reporter learned from the Anji County Museum that the museum staff had recently discovered multiple cliff carvings with clear historical records on the cliff of a cave in Wucun Village, Hanggai Town. "It is the first time that cliff carvings have been discovered in Xianren Cave in Wucun Village. The 10 recorded ages in the cave ranging three dynasties of the Tang, Song and Ming, leaving the remains of ancient hand carvings from over 740 AD to 1636 AD, which is extremely rare, "said the relevant person in charge of the Anji County Museum.

The Xianren Cave is located in Xianren Bay, Wucun Village. The staff of the county museum saw dense ancient and modern inscriptions on cliffs of various sizes on both sides of the cliff walls, which are 15 meters long and 1.5 meters high from the ground. “Some are individually composed, and some are segmented or laminated later. There are many or few characters, some are deep or shallow, some are clear and distinguishable, and others are confused. Some record events, some are named, some are poems, and others are symbols. ” Therelated person introduced.

At first, after preliminary identification on site, the staff found that the reign title involved in the inscriptions on cliffs were "Tianbao", "Huichang 3rd year", "Xiantong 2nd year", "Qianfu 5th year", and "Daguan". Later, after carefully identifying the enlarged photos through a computer, the staff also found that there were "February of the fifth year of Dazhong", "Taihe second year", "December of the first year of Zhonghe", "Tianshun" and "Chongzhen Bingzi year" on it. According to the on-site exploration by provincial experts in cultural relics, the inscriptions on cliffs related to chronology at this location should undoubtedly be authentic. The continuity and clear completeness of their chronology spanning different eras are currently the only ones in Huzhou, rare in Zhejiang, and not many in the country, and it should be an important discovery.
