Yesterday afternoon, Wu Haiying, deputy secretary of the Jilin Provincial Party Committee, led a delegation to Huzhou to inspect the relevant practices of our city in the implementation of “Zhejiang’s Green Rural Revival Program”. Liu Xin, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial People’s Congress, Jiang Weifeng, deputy director of the Office of Leading Group for Rural Work, CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee, deputy secretary of the Party Leadership Group and deputy director of the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Chen Hao, secretary of the Huzhou Municipal Party Committee, Yang Weidong, member of the Standing Committee of the Huzhou Municipal Party Committee and secretary of the Anji County Party Committee accompanied the delegation. Li Deming, director of the Office of Leading Grop for Rural Work, CPC Jilin Provincial Committee, director of the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and director of the Rural Revitalization Bureau of Jilin Province, and Bao Qingchun, deputy director of the Jilin Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, also participated in the inspection.

The delegation’s first stop was Yucun Village, Tianhuangping Town, Anji County, where they visited various places including the Yucun Tourism Service Center, Yucun Park, Future Village Exhibition Hall, Yucun Cinema, and Yucun Cultural Auditorium. They listened to introductions on village planning and construction, cultural and tourism industry development, the introduction and cultivation of young talents, and the clustered development of the Greater Yucun Village. They gained an in-depth understanding of Yucun’s vivid practice of persistently implementing the concept that “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets” over the past ten years, taking “Zhejiang’s Green Rural Revival Program” as a guide to promoting the integration of beautiful villages, harmonious people, thriving industries, and wealthy people. In Anji County, the delegation also visited the new rural houses of Zhejiang style in Dazhuyuan Village, Lingfeng Sub-district. While walking, observing, and listening to introductions, they learned about the village’s approaches and achievements in promoting the integrated development of agriculture, culture, and tourism, attracting and implementing projects, developing emerging industries, and innovating grassroots governance.

The delegation declared that as the birthplace of the concept that “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets”, the origin of China’s beautiful countryside, and a pioneer in green development, Huzhou has witnessed remarkable transformation over these years. This serves as a microcosm of implementing the so-called “Zhejiang’s Green Rural Revival Program” in the province over the past 20 years. Jilin will seize this opportunity of the inspection to further learn and apply the experience of the project, adhere to adapting measures to local conditions and implementing category-based policies, and better transform the learning outcomes into practical achievements in promoting the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas. At the same time, they also hope to strengthen communication and exchanges with Zhejiang and Huzhou, deepen practical cooperation, and jointly contribute more to advancing modernization with Chinese characteristics.
