Yesterday, the soilessly planted rice on the floating beds of Wangjiayang River, Hudong St. Of Wuxing District was harvested for the first time. The golden rice ears sway in the wind, presenting a brilliant picture of bumper harvest. As our city’s first inland river new agricultural project, the “water soiless cultivation of rice” project is good for maintaining water environment, reducing water pollution and saving land resource.
