On September 28th, the 3-day exchange and project competition of the first Zhejiang Voluntary Service Exhibition came to an end in Ningbo. In the competition, Huzhou won the first place in the competition and the total cooperation contract amount. The 5 projects recommended by Huzhou have also won 3 gold awards, 1 silver award and 1 bronze award.

This event with the theme of "Civilized Zhejiang along with Voluntary Service", aims to comprehensively show Zhejiang’s achievements of new-era civilized practice voluntary service in recent years, and promote the trend of a new-era civilized volunteer services. After the preliminary selection, a total of 431 volunteer service projects from the provincial departments, 11 prefecture-level cities, and universities launched participated in the exhibition. Huzhou selected 34 projects of 11 types such as policy publicity, law, science and technology, cultural services, emergency rescue, assistance to the elderly and disabled and poverty alleviation.

In the form of road shows and oral defenses, the competition selected 10 gold awards, 15 silver awards, 20 bronze awards and another 25 outstanding awards from the 70 participating projects and gave the participants some financial support. Speaking of Huzhou, a silver award goes to the "care from white tea" - the volunteer service project of Huangdu Village, Anji County for poverty alleviation, and a bronze award goes to the "Veterans Post" volunteer service project.
