On the 18th, the river chief of Luoshe Village is maintaining the underwater plants in the Baimuyang "Underwater Forest" in Luoshe Town, Deqing County. In recent years, through deeply practicing the concept of “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets”, Deqing County has constructed a three-tier river chief system covering counties, towns (sub-districts), and villages, and established a three-dimensional ecological management system for small and micro waters with low fluidity. Submerged plants such as dwarf bitter grass and hornwort are planted at the bottom of the Baimuyang Lake, helping to improve its purification capacity. At present, 5 village-level "underwater forests" have been built, and the total area of submerged plants has reached 100,000 square meters.
