On January 24, 30 households of D-level dilapidated buildings in Beijiao Community of Qianyuan Town，Deqing County, moved into their new houses. Every household hung lanterns and pasted the Chinese character "Fu"(means good fortune) to welcome the Year of the Ox (in Chinese zodiac). In September, 2020, the town launched a comprehensive project of 250 million yuan, to purchase, strengthen and rebuild more than 1,200 dilapidated houses in five communities, so that people can live in safe houses. Residents will all move into new houses before the Spring Festival as the renovation has basically been completed now.
