Huzhou held a promoting meeting on the renovation of electric wires in old communities in urban areas yesterday afternoon to spare no effort to completely eliminate the “cobwebs in the air” in the three districts by the end of this year. Fan Qingyu, member of Standing Committee and Publicity Minister, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

In June, 2019, the city’s founding office, together with many communities and civilized units, started the renovation of electric wires to deal with the headaches for cities. The past one more year has witnessed how the city had overcome many obstacles and handled various emergencies, thus making remarkable achievements in coordinating resources, decision-making and carrying out the work in detail. Adhering to the existing regulations, the city’s next step is to improve the standard and continue to promote the rectification work for the people and by the people.

It is stressed that at present, we must not neglect shortcomings and problems despite the delightful improvement we have already made. New situation, tasks and challenges still require us to unite, to coordinate the efforts of all parties, to safeguard the interests of the people and to promote the formation of a long-term mechanism. To continuously promote the rectification, we have to meet high standards and rigorous requirements, so that we can form a Huzhou model for the rectification of electric wires and can share our experience with the whole province and even the whole country.
