Yesterday at 9:30 a.m., three electric buses steadily drove out of the Renhuangshan bus hub on time, heading for Deqing, Changxing, and Anji respectively. This marked the official opening of the intercity bus line between the urban area and the three counties, adopting the same policy mechanism, the same service standard, the same operating fare, the same operating method, and the same card in various journeys. So far, our city has taken the lead in realizing the integration of intercity public transportation in the whole province.

  The 4 newly-opened intercity bus lines are 601 and 602 from the urban area to Changxing, 801 from the urban area to Deqing, and 501 from the urban area to Anji. A total of 36 electric buses have been put into use with "See Beautiful China in Huzhou" city brand logo, and the ticket price ranging from 7 yuan to 18 yuan from the urban area to the three counties has been lowered to a 2 yuan one-ticket system.

  As a national “transportation city”, in recent years, our city has completed the reform of urban public transportation nationalization, initiated the coverage of electric taxis, integration, and market reform of the urban taxi industry, and created a series of "name cards" for Huzhou including realizing a comprehensive coverage of “pure electric, one-ticket, online payment” for urban buses and the integrated supervision of public bicycles, shared bicycles, and shared electric bikes, basically achieving the goal of creating a regionally and ecologically leading national "transportation city".

  "The opening and realization of intercity public transport between the city and the three counties is one of the top ten livelihood projects of the municipal government. It is significant in promoting rural revitalization, taking the lead in achieving the goal of double carbon' and the high-quality development of Zhejiang as a demonstration zone for common prosperity," said the relevant manager of the Municipal Transportation Bureau.

  Next, the transportation department will further improve the formation of the four-level bus network system of "city, counties, towns, and villages" to benefit more people.

  Besides, this year our city will achieve full coverage of "pure electric, one-ticket system, mobile payment, and IC card connection" for urban public transport and intercity public transport in the three counties. In order to increase the public transportation share rate, we will also optimize and newly open 10 bus lines, build 20 new informationized bus stations and 100 new pure electric buses, extend 1,000 minutes of daily service time, and 10,000 kilometers of new service mileage each day.
