The Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Provincial Department of Education, and the Provincial Women’s Federation have jointly released 52 revolutionary spots in the province. Qian Zhuangfei Memorial Hall, Nanxun Wenyuan, Moganshan Scenic Spot, Changxing New Fourth Army Memorial Hall of Jiangsu and Zhejiang Military Region, Yucun Village "Two-Mountains" scenic spot in our city are included into the list.
These 5 scenic spots all contain a strong revolutionary culture, which allows visitors to get an immersive spiritual baptism and keep the roots of revolution in mind. Qian Zhuangfei Memorial Hall, with more than 1,000 documents, newspapers, and pictures, reproduces the glorious and legendary life of this revolutionary martyr. Nanxun Wenyuan has a gallery that reflects the theme of patriotism education, such as the Red Army Long March Tracking Hall and Xu Chi Memorial Hall. On display here is the "half quilt" story quoted by General Secretary Xi Jinping in his speech at the meeting to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Red Army’s victory in the Long March. The Moganshan Scenic Area is closely related to the "Moganshan Conference", the first national seminar for young and middle-aged economists. That conference was recorded forever in the annals of history as "a pioneering event in the history of Chinese economic reform thought" as well. The exhibition hall of Changxing New Fourth Army Memorial Hall of Jiangsu and Zhejiang Military Region, with more than 350 cultural relics and more than 560 precious photos, displays in detail the arduous history of the soldiers and civilians of the Jiangsu and Zhejiang Military Region of the New Fourth Army. Yucun Village, the birthplace of the idea “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets”, is also the country's first eco-tourism and rural holiday scenic spot with this theme.
