According to the Municipal Agricultural Science Center, Huzhou Keao Seeds Co., Ltd. bid 300,000 yuan on the transfer of cultivation technologies of Zhehujing 26, the newest high-quality late japonica rice variety jointly bred by the Municipal Agricultural Science Center, Crop and Nuclear Technology Use Institute under Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Anji Bijia Mountain Agricultural High-Tech Industrial Park. This is the second successful commercialization of rice breeding research of the Municipal Agricultural Science Center in three years.　

“Zhehujing 26” is a conventional single cropping late japonica rice, with uniform height and moderate growth period. At the late stage, its ripe green stalk turns yellow. The apparent shift in colors, high yield, and lodging resistance make it a suitable single cropping rice in Zhejiang Province. The Municipal Agricultural Science Center will actively cooperate with Keao Seed Company to demonstrate and promote this rice variety, so as to further promote the development of Zhehu japonica series rice varieties, and make scientific contributions to achieving the goal of having Huzhou seeds grown in Huzhou.
