
During the Covid-19, small and micro businesses and self-employed inPiduals have experienced impact at different levels. In order to help them survive and thrive, and further support them to boost confidence and stabilize expectations, Huzhou Municipal SASAC (State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission) has promptly conveyed and set policies on reduction or exemption of rent in the province and city, and has issued the Notice of Zhejiang Provincial SASAC Forwarded by Huzhou Municipal SASAC on Housing Rent Reduction or Exemption of State-owned Enterprises to Promote the Recovery and Development of Difficult Businesses in the Service Industry, Notice of Huzhou Municipal SASAC on Requesting to Speed Up Rent Reduction or Exemption of State-owned Houses and other documents.
According to the policy, small and micro businesses and self-employed inPiduals who rent state-owned houses in medium and high-risk areas of 2022 will be exempt from rents for 6 months this year, while those elsewhere enjoy rent exemption for 3 months. For businesses that rent state-owned houses for less than a year in 2022, they can enjoy rent reduction or exemption in proportion to actual lease time period.
It is expected that 7,818 businesses and inPiduals will profit from this policy with the total reduction and exemption amount of 180 million yuan. At present, this work is accelerated and expected to finish by the end of May.
