Yesterday, Anji white tea was officially picked. On the tea mountain, the tea pickers flipped their fingers and happily gathered the first batch of white tea leaves this year. Currently, 30% of tea plantations in Anji have entered the picking period. According to preliminary estimates by the County Agriculture and Rural Bureau, the output of Anji white tea in the county will reach about 2,300 tons this year.
　　Tea leaves support the local inhabitants. Over the years, Anji white tea has developed from its mother plant called "the ancestor of white tea" to a rich industry with a tea garden area of 2.006 million mu and an annual output value of CNY3.2 billion yuan, increasing the per capita annual income of the farmers in the county by over CNY8,800 yuan. Anji white tea has also been donated to three provinces and five counties in the central and western regions, and the white tea is supporting its people in many places.
　　On the same day, Anji County released the "2023 Plan of Anji White Tea Prosperity-for-all", which mainly covers the "four ones" including deepening a set of brand management system, adding a rescue insurance barrier for tea pickers, promoting a set of digital enabling system and creating a rural revitalization tea brand. In addition, the China Tea Association and the Anji County people's Government signed a co-operation agreement on the establishment of the Anji Service Station of the China Tea Association, and the Anji County people's Government and the Songyang County people's Government signed a cooperative agreement on the whole industry chain of the tea industry.
