From the afternoon of December 2nd to the 3rd, the delegation of Huzhou City went to Zunyi for study and inspection. Li Rui, member of the Standing Committee of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Zunyi Municipal Party Committee, Chen Hao, Secretary of the Huzhou Municipal Party Committee, He Wei, Wang Haibo, Meng Lin, Li Honglin, leaders of Zunyi City, Sun Xianlong, Li Shangkui, Yang Weidong, and other leaders of Huzhou City participated in the relevant activities.

Zunyi is an old and holy revolutionary land. From January 15 to 17, 1935, during the Red Army’s Long March, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China held an enlarged meeting of the Politburo here, known as the “Zunyi Conference”, which was an important meeting with great turning significance in the history of our party. With great reverence, the delegation visited the site of the Zunyi Conference and visited the Zunyi Conference Exhibition Hall.

On the morning of the 3rd, the delegation also inspected the Moutai Exhibition Hall of the Red Army’s Long March, a national key cultural relics protection unit, to learn about the glorious course of the Red Army’s four crossings of Chishui.

During the inspection, the members of the delegation said that although Huzhou and Zunyi are far away, both places have profound red cultural genes and good natural resource endowments, and both carry the earnest entrustment of general secretary Xi Jinping. It is hoped that the two cities will take this visit as an opportunity to strengthen interaction and exchanges, seek opportunities for cooperation in the fields of culture, tourism, rural revitalization, and ecological civilization construction, and promote the high-quality economic and social development of the two places.
