The Provincial Department of Commerce and the Provincial Department of Finance recently announced the list of key projects for the provincial cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zones in 2024. With the three projects from Anji Longwin Furniture Co., Ltd., Changxing Deli Technology Co., Ltd., and Zhejiang Laien Filtration Systems Co., Ltd. successfully selected, Huzhou ranks third in the province in terms of the number of selected projects.

Since 2020, our city has successively been approved as a national pilot zone for cross-border e-commerce comprehensive trials and a national pilot area for cross-border e-commerce retail import policies. The Huzhou Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Zone is based on the new pattern of "dual circulation" of domestic and international markets, seizing the opportunities of the "dual pilot zones," promoting innovation, and vigorously developing cross-border e-commerce. With a stronger sense of responsibility, higher standards, and more practical measures, the comprehensive pilot zone is continuously advancing its construction. Last year, the city achieved a business volume of 23.906 billion yuan in the cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zone, accounting for 14.8% of the city's total import and export volume.

It is reported that the city will further implement the "sweet potato economy" to enhance the so-called "No. One Open Project," improve cross-border e-commerce development, accelerate the transformation and upgrading of traditional foreign trade enterprises. Additionally, in 2024, the city will carry out a series of activities for cross-border e-commerce to connect with the resources of the Huzhou industrial belt, injecting new impetus into creating a new highland for opening up to the outside world and promoting high-quality economic development.
