Yesterday, the Huzhou delegation to the Third Session of the 14th Provincial People’s Congress held a plenary meeting in its venue to carefully deliberate on the work reports of the Standing Committee of Zhejiang Provincial People’s Congress, the Provincial High Court, and the Provincial People's Procuratorate. Chen Hao, deputy to the Provincial People’s Congress and secretary of the municipal party committee, presided over the meeting. Lian Kunming, Sun Xianlong, and others attended.

The deliberation session was held in a lively atmosphere, with provincial deputies and attendees actively speaking up. All participants agreed that the work reports of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Congress, the Provincial High Court, and the Provincial People's Procuratorate fully embodied the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches and directives, and the provincial party committee's plenary sessions. The reports objectively summarized achievements, profoundly analyzed issues, and specifically deployed tasks, fully embodying the organic unity of adhering to party leadership, safeguarding the people's status as masters of the country, and governing the country by the law. They also reflected the organic unity of serving the overall situation, improving people’s livelihoods, and performing duties by the law, as well as the organic unity of inheritance, innovation, and practicality. All participants fully endorsed these three reports.

Chen Hao stated that in the coming year, the Huzhou Municipal Party Committee will deeply study and comprehend the important thoughts of General Secretary Xi Jinping on adhering to and improving the people’s congress system and the important expositions on political and legal work. Centering around the provincial party committee’s work deployment of “one primary task, three main directions of attack, and two fundamentals”, and by the requirements of this conference, the committee will fully support the People’s Congress, Provincial High Court, and Provincial Supreme Procuratorate in discharging their legal duties. It will strive to innovate in the work of these institutions in Huzhou, aiming to make greater contributions to Zhejiang’s high-quality development, the building of a common prosperity demonstration zone, the accelerated creation of a “significant window” to display the superiority of the socialist system with Chinese characteristics, and the dynamic advancement of Zhejiang’s modernization with Chinese characteristics.
