Yesterday, the Seventh Plenary Session (Enlarged) of the Ninth Municipal Party Committee were held with the Municipal Economic Work Conference.

47 members of the Municipal Party Committee and 8 alternate members attended the meeting.

The Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee presided over the meeting. Chen Hao, the secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, delivered a report of work. Lian Kunming, the deputy secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and acting mayor, deployed the economic work for 2025. Municipal leaders such as Sun Xianlong, Li Shangkui, and Wu Zhiyong were also present at the meeting.

Guided by the principles of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the meeting thoroughly studied and implemented the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Second and Third Plenary Sessions of the 20th Central Committee, conscientiously implemented the decisions made at the Central Economic Work Conference and the Sixth Plenary Session of the Fifteenth Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Economic Work Conference, recalled the work of 2024, outlined tasks for 2025, and mobilized the entire city to faithfully practice the Double-Eight Strategy, continuously deepen the theme of “Beautiful China, Dynamic Huzhou” and striving to be the first in practical work, unwaveringly follow the path of regarding lucid waters and lush mountains as invaluable assets, promote high-quality economic development, build a green model for common prosperity, accelerate the creation of the “Six New Huzhous”, and strive to create a new situation for high-quality development and building Huzhou into a model city of ecological civilization. The meeting made specific arrangements for expanding effective investment and accelerating major project construction in 2025, narrowing the “three major gaps” through “Zhejiang’s Green Rural Revival Program”, innovating the construction of Huzhou, and advancing high-level opening up to the outside world. Responsible persons from the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau, the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, the Municipal Agriculture and Rural Bureau, and the Municipal Commerce Bureau each made presentations. At the end of the meeting, Chen Hao delivered a speech on implementing the spirit of the plenary session and making arrangements for work at the end of the year and the beginning of the next.
