Yesterday, the "Vegetable Factory" smart greenhouse in the Grain and Vegetable Supply and Reclamation Industrial Park in Quanqiao Village, Lincheng Town, Changxing County was full of spring vitality. On the neat seedbeds, tender green tomato seedlings grow vigorously. An automated sprinkler irrigation device hung above the seedbeds, spraying fine water mist. In less than five minutes, precise fertilization was completed. In this industrial park, such mechanized equipment can be seen everywhere.

Recently, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the province announced a list of high-quality development brands for the replacement of human labor with machines in agriculture. Changxing County was selected as a provincial-level comprehensive pilot county for the high-quality development of replacing human labor with machines in agriculture. So far, Huzhou has taken the lead in achieving full coverage of provincial-level comprehensive pilot counties for the high-quality development of replacing human labor with machines in agriculture in the whole province.

The replacement of human labor with machines has brought about efficient and labor-saving agricultural production. In recent days, the Hengxin Aquaculture Base in Zhili Town, Wuxing District has welcomed the busy season of "spring plowing on water". The small crab seedlings that have been cultivated for over 200 days are ready to move to their "new homes" in the large ponds. "In the past, releasing crab seedlings and managing crab ponds relied on experience. For 'newcomers', releasing crab seedlings was a test every time. But now it's different. With the help of scientific and technological equipment, we can accurately grasp the timing of releasing crab seedlings," said Wang Ziyu, a post-2000 person in charge. With the help of scientific and technological data, releasing crab seedlings and managing crab ponds have become easier. Last year, the base also launched an "unmanned bait-casting boat". After setting the parameters, one can feed the thousand-mu ponds by operating the remote control.
