The reporter learned from the Municipal Bureau of Commerce yesterday that during the Spring Festival, various commercial and trade enterprises in our city launched 67 activities around the theme of “celebrating the New Year Fun in Huzhou”. The 56 key monitored commercial and trade enterprises in the city have achieved a cumulative sales revenue of CNY 461 million, a year-on-year increase of 33.2%. The overall operation of the city’s consumer market is stable and the supply and marketing are prosperous.
During the Spring Festival, various districts and counties have continuously launched a series of activities and measures to benefit the people, adding new vitality to our city’s consumer market. The shopping malls in Wuxing District, such as Zhebei Plaza, South TaihuWuyue Plaza, Wanda Plaza and Aishan INtime, organized cross year activities to attract consumers while creating “hot spots” on the Internet. The sales of 18 key supermarkets reached CNY346 million, up 38.9% year on year. Major pedestrian streets in the city are creating immersive consumption scenes to attract tourists. Five high-quality pedestrian streets, including Aishan Square, have achieved a cumulative sales revenue of CNY31.048 million, a year-on-year increase of 30.4%; The cumulative passenger flow reached 1.113 million, a year-on-year increase of 38.8%. At the same time, the trade in activity continues to promote the heating up of the consumer market. Ten key monitored trade in home appliance enterprises and automobile 4S stores, including Zhejiang North Home Appliances, Huzhou NIO, Deqing Zhonghe, Anji Hejian, etc., have accumulated customer traffic of over 20000, accumulated consumption of over 2000 transactions, and sales revenue of CNY11.2 million.
During the Spring Festival, the consumption of accommodation and meals in our city continued to improve, and major catering hotels launched a series of New Year’s Eve dinner packages. The 14 key monitored accommodation and catering enterprises in the city have achieved a cumulative turnover of CNY43.446 million, a year-on-year increase of 3.2%.
