A representative from the Mongolian Geospatial Association(MGA), Lkhagvaana, recently signed a cooperation memorandum with Liu Haili, Chairman of Zhejiang Hydrogen Craft Co., Ltd., marking the first international collaboration since the establishment of the “World Geospatial Information Home.” This also signifies a significant advancement of Deqing’s geospatial information industry in “going global”.
Hydrogen Craft is a high-tech enterprise specializing in lightweight, highly adaptable fuel cell development and application research. Its self-developed portable power generation equipment and other products have made their way into international markets such as Japan, South Korea, and Germany. “Mongolia is an untapped market for us. This collaboration agreement opens up new market opportunities,” said Liu Haili. He added that the “World Geospatial Information Home”, an effective information hub, facilitates efficient connections between companies and international markets. He also expects future collaborations with more Belt and Road countries to expand the company’s market reach.
Currently, the “World Geospatial Information Home” has increased its signed membership to six organizations. Representatives from Mongolia and Kazakhstan have already settled in Deqing to advance industry collaboration through face-to-face meetings. According to a representative from the Geospatial Information Development Center of Huzhou Mogan Mountain National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone, other representatives from the institutions that have already signed cooperation agreements will gradually come to Deqing to carry out their work. This year, they aim to attract more than 10 institutions to establish a presence here.
