Yesterday morning, Chen Hao, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Municipal Office of the Cyberspace Affairs Commission, presided over a plenary meeting of the Municipal Cybersecurity and Informatization Commission. He emphasized the need to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thoughts on building a strong cyberpower and the spirit of his important speech during his inspection tour of Zhejiang Province, and to earnestly follow the deployment and requirements set out at the provincial cybersecurity and informatization commission meeting. He pointed out that it is essential to integrate cybersecurity and informatization work into the broader framework of overall planning and strategic consideration. By adhering to fundamental principles while driving innovation, we can advance this critical work and unlock new opportunities for the city’s cybersecurity and informatization development. This will not only fuel development momentum but also create a favorable environment for building an exemplary ecological civilization city through high-quality development.

Lian Kunming, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, Mayor, and Deputy Director of the Municipal Office of the Cyberspace Affairs Commission, as well as other commission members and relevant municipal leaders, including Wu Zhiyong, Shen Zhonghua, Ruan Yeping, Chen Jun, and Shi Yiting, attended the meeting. The meeting conveyed and studied the spirit of the provincial cybersecurity and informatization commission meeting, and deliberated on the 2025 work priorities and relevant documents of the Municipal Cybersecurity and Informatization Commission. Changxing County, the Huzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau, and the Huzhou Municipal Data Bureau made a speech and shared their experience.

Chen Hao fully affirmed the achievements of the city’s cybersecurity and informatization work over the past year. He pointed out that this year marks the 20th anniversary of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s proposal of the concept that “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets”, the year of concluding the “14th Five-Year Plan” and planning the “15th Five-Year Plan”, and an important year for accelerating the construction of “six-new Huzhou” and building an exemplary city of ecological civilization through high-quality development. Performing well in cybersecurity and informatization initiatives is critically important and entails substantial responsibilities.
