Recently, prosecutors from Deqing County People's Procuratorate visited the Xiazhu Lake Crested Ibis Rescue and Conservation Base for the "Protecting Homeland of Crested Ibis" legal awareness campaign and a follow-up review of public interest litigation initiatives. The breeding season of the Crested Ibis, a national Class I protected species, occurs annually from March to June. During this period of time, the procuratorate has been raising public awareness of wildlife protection through multi-faceted efforts, including legal awareness campaigns, field investigations, and rule-of-law education.
