The Economy and Information Technology Department of Zhejiang recently announced the list of advanced intelligent factories for 2025, with 55 enterprises from Huzhou honored to be on the list, ranking the top in the province. Driven by the “digital engine”, the advantages of Huzhou’s manufacturing industry in the new race of smart manufacturing are constantly emerging. It is reported that the comprehensive evaluation index of industrial digitization in our city has consistently ranked Top Three in the province for many years.

In recent years, our city has taken “gradient cultivation” as a strategic pivot and established a three-level cultivation system of “provincial intelligent factory- municipal benchmark-enterprises above designated size”. The expert team went deep into the production line of the enterprise to “diagnose the problem” and adopted a full process service model of “diagnosis+transformation+promotion”, fostering the digital transformation of enterprises above designated size with a cumulative investment of over CNY1.025 billion, achieving full coverage of digital level 1.0. Huzhou is also upgrading its industrial chain through a dual wheel drive of “leading traction+platform driven” approach. The intelligent supply chain platform for crawler cranes created by Sany Equipment has linked more than 50 upstream and downstream enterprises, achieving a direct material supply rate of over 80%. Our city has also joined hands with experts to establish the State Key Laboratory Of Industrial Control Technology. Huzhou also collaborated with institutions such as the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China to build an innovative chain of “technology research-achievement transformation-industrial application”. Vitality are being injected into intelligent manufacturing by 52 new research and development institutions.
