Yesterday afternoon, the theoretical learning center group of the MuTwinnicipal Party Committee held a special study seminar to learn from General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech on the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta and the spirit of the 2025 Yangtze River Delta region’s main leaders’ symposium. The seminar focused on the theme of “promoting the joint efforts of domestic and external demand to build an important strategic pivot for the ‘twin-circulation’ of the Yangtze River Delta” for exchange and discussion.

The meeting pointed out that promoting the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta is a major national strategy planned, deployed, and promoted by General Secretary Xi Jinping. The 2025 Symposium of Major Leaders in the Yangtze River Delta would last from June 6th to 7th. The symposium deeply studied and implemented the important speech spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping on the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta. Focusing on the theme of “synergistically enhancing the innovation capacity of the Yangtze River Delta region and better leveraging the role of high-quality development drivers”, it put forward higher development goals, released stronger signals of scientific and technological innovation, and built a broader cooperation stage. Huzhou strategically locates at the geographic heart of the Yangtze River Delta, boasts obviously distinctive advantages in connectivity, transportation, ecological assets, and entrepreneurial costs business environment. We must seize the national strategic opportunities, fully implement the deployment requirements of the Party Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee. It is vital for us to take on the role of the protagonist and the main force, deeply plan and intensify efforts to promote the integration of Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta, stimulate vitality internally, and borrow assistance externally, accelerating the leapforward development of Huzhou.
