Font:【Big In Small

According to the Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, since the beginning of this year, Huzhou's industrial economy has focused on building a modern industrial system with local characteristics, accelerating new industrialization, and cultivating new quality productive forces. By continuously tapping the potential of manufacturing enterprises and driving stable production, increased efficiency and enhanced capacity, significant results have been achieved. Data shows that from January to April, the value-added output of the city's designated scale industries grew by 10.6% YoY, ranking 4th in the province. The industrial economy of the city demonstrates a positive trend of "strong start, innovation-driven progress, and steady advancement with quality improvement."

In terms of production, industrial added value contributed 53.2% to the city's GDP growth from January to April, an increase of 5.3 percentage points compared to the same period last year, making it the core engine driving regional economic growth. This achievement stems from deepened implementation of the "Project Lifecycle Management" mechanism. Since 2023, Huzhou has added 262 newly designated above-scale industrial enterprises. In the first four months of this year alone, these newly designated above-scale enterprises contributed 7.1 billion yuan in output value, driving 3 percentage points of the city's industrial growth.

Regarding regional development, the Yangtze River Delta (Huzhou) Industrial Cooperation Zone took the lead with 32.5% growth, followed closely by South Taihu New District, Anji County, Changxing County, and Nanxun District, forming robust growth poles. Although Deqing County and Wuxing District showed relatively moderate growth rates, they maintained overall stable operations, providing solid support for the city's industrial foundation.
