Eleven years ago, Deqing County and Zhejiang University of Technology（ZJUT） embarked on a university-county collaboration by establishing the Moganshan Campus of Zhejiang University of Technology and setting up platforms like the Moganshan Institute ZJUT for innovation and entrepreneurship. Through these efforts, ZJUT has continuously infused Deqing’s soil with an innovative spirit, allowing the fruits of wisdom to flourish at the foot of Moganshan Mountain.
      Nowadays, the university-county collaboration between two sides is advancing toward "mutual growth and shared prosperity." To accelerate the transformation of sci-tech achievements into tangible economic value, both sides have pioneered a full-cycle service system this year. By launching 30 support measures, jointly establishing a "one-stop" innovation and entrepreneurship service center, and awarding a number of youth entrepreneurship hubs and sci-tech finance service stations, we will make greater efforts to attract high-quality entrepreneurial and innovative projects to settle in Deqing. Meanwhile, two concept verification centers for life and health, new energy and functional materials have been established to further promote the market and industrial application of early scientific and technological achievements. The first batch of 14 projects have been approved for entry through evaluation.
     With the Moganshan Campus of ZJUT as the core, the "ZJUT-Centric Innovation Economic Zone" is increasingly radiating strong technological radiation, becoming an important innovation source for the northern wing of the West Hangzhou Science and Technology Innovation Corridor. "Recently, we launched ZJUT's Scientific Achievement Pool and Deqing's Enterprise Demand Database, while appointing 'Technology Deputy Directors' and 'Industry Professors'. This shifts university-county collaboration from single-project matching to systematic ecosystem building, solidifying Deqing as ZJUT's preferred technology transfer hub," introduced a Deqing County representative. The deepened collaboration between two sides is enabling every dormant patent to find its industrial application.
