Yesterday, Huzhou Municipal Party Committee Theoretical Study Center Groupheld a symposium themedondeeplearning and implementationof General Secretary Xi Jinping's important thoughts on adhering to and improving the system of People's Congressand the newly amended lawson deputiesand supervision. Zhang Guoqiang, the standing member of ZhejiangProvincial People’s Congressanddeputy chairman of the Education, Science, Culture and Public Health Committee, was invited tomake a guidance speech.

Chen Hao, Sun Xianlong, Li Shangkui, Wu Zhiyong, and other members of the Municipal Party Committee Theoretical Study Center Group attended the meeting, as did principals of relevant municipal departments, heads of various committees and offices of the Municipal People's Congress and its Standing Committee, and leading cadres at and above the deputy department level in the organ of the Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee.

Zhang Guoqiang has long been engaged in theoretical study of the system of People’s Congress and its relevantworks. He also participated in building “Golden Name Cards” on the vote on livelihood issues, digitalization of People’s Congress,and the sound construction of grassroots units, laying a profound theoretical foundation and accumulating rich practical experience.Atthe symposiumsite, centering on the theme of “upholding, improving and operating the system of People’s Congress well”, Zhang made a systematicexplanation on the formation and developemnt of it and its missions and tasks in advancing Chinese modernization, as well as sharing his perspecitves with other members about how to promote high-quality developemnt of the work of it and speaking highly of the distinctive and outstanding work of the Huzhou Municipal People’s Congress.

According to the participants, the guidance report not only had a theoretical basis but also practical feasibility, enabling everyone to have a more systematic, comprehensive, and profound understanding of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thought on upholding and improving the system of People’s Congress. And it was of great guiding significance.
