The total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, and fishery in Huzhou was 26.67 billion yuan in the whole year of 2022, up by 5.1% over the previous year. Among them, the output value of agriculture was 11.23 billion yuan, up by 1.7%; the output value of animal husbandry was 2.20 billion yuan, up by 7.6%; and the output value of fishery was 9.39 billion yuan, up by 8.9%. The sown area of grain was 1.216 million mu, up by 0.9%; the total grain output was 530,000 tons, up by 0.5%. The sown area of economic crops (nursery area excluded) was 854,000 mu, of which the vegetable area was 608,000 mu. The annual output of live pigs was 357,000, up by 8.2%; the output of sheep was 459,000, up by 7.6%. The output of major livestock products (pork, beef, mutton, and poultry) was 80,000 tons, up by 3.7%; and the output of aquatic products was 605,000 tons, up by 8.5%.
