    Huzhou is located in the north of Zhejiang Province, bordering Shanghai on the east, Hangzhou on the south and Nanjing on the north, facing Suzhou and Wuxi across Taihu Lake. It is blessed with superior natural conditions, including abundant rainfall, mild climate and picturesque scenery. The terrain of the city generally slopes from southwest to northeast. The west is mountainous, peaking at Mount Longwang, the source of Huangpu River, with an altitude of 1,587 meters.
