In 2022, the city's newly-born population was 19,000, death population 24,000 and the natural reduction population 5,000, making its birth rate as 5.5‰, death rate 6.9‰ and natural growth rate -1.4‰, a decrease of 0.7‰, increase of 0.4‰ and decrease of 1.1‰ respectively compared with those in 2021.
