The gross enrollment rate for higher education was 67.92%, up 2.18 percentage points from the previous year; the proportion of junior high school graduates entering senior high school was 99.41%, up 0.07 percentage points; the enrollment rates for junior high school and primary school were both 100%; and the gross enrollment rate for fifteen-year education was 99.82%, up 0.02 percentage points. There were 34,100 full-time teachers in various schools throughout the city, including 21,400 full-time teachers in ordinary primary and secondary schools, and every 100 ordinary primary and secondary school students had 6.76 full-time teachers.
